Heya guys ! So todays outfit was nearly all from H&M! But how can you blame me when there new range has such a beautiful 60/70's vibe about it. It all started when I spotted these beautiful almost kaleidoscope print cotton flares (which let me point out are beyond comfortable). At £15 I just couldn't resist! I also tried on this white frilled crop top which I felt completed the old school vibes perfectly, almost like i'd just stepped into Glasto 68'. I'm also crazy into ethnical gold jewellery, and unlike Topshop, who seems to be thinking its acceptable to charge £12 for a pair of earrings which lets face it can easily break after a few wears... H&M had pulled it out the bag with these beautiful golden showstoppers at £4! I have only worn them twice and already I have had quite a few compliments! And they have so many other beautiful designs to chose from, so they get a massive thumbs up from me! Another thing I have been loving recently is Urban Decay's Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner. I first came across this from stumbling through fashion bloggers youtube's and had noticed this one girls eye's looked amazing and latter found she was wearing the Urban Decay liner round her eyes. Now I have a firm belief that Urban Decays products are of amazing quality ( have had two of my pallets used daily for nearly 3 years and they don't affect my eyes at all and still work as perfect as day one ). Now at £14 its not unaffordable but at the same time it does bring the question is it worth it? And from that I would put my hand on my heart and say that this is one of the best investments I have made for a while (and I make a lot!) I wanted to try It before I brought it, so I went into the local Selfridges and the lady kindly applied some to my eyes and bam that was it, I was sold. The glitter is so easy to apply and really stays in shape on your eyes, I went out that night and it was still there into the early hours of the morning. I also got a lot of compliments about how it stood out on my eyes and really made them sparkle. Last but in no ways least was the addition of a fedora hat to my wardrobe! FINALLY! I'm always trying them on in Topshop but never fancy spending 40 quid on a hat pffft pleaase! So I decided to scrawl the app Depop in the search for a second hand one, and came across this beautiful vintage one with a peacock feather in the side. Its not too big that it becomes overly floppy, but not to small that it makes my head look big. Perfect!
Thats all for now folks' I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather and let me know what you think of the outfit!
Heya guys, so just a quick weekly favourites! A very casual choice if i do say so myself ! I think each piece is quite versatile, which is always great on a low budget when you're just looking for key pieces you can wear time-after-time. I'm inlove with the art T from Week Day, but being an artist myself I think it may end up looking incredibly cliché hahah oh well! My fave fave fave though, has to be the boho esq fringe sandals from Zara! Are they not just beautiful !?
On another note, I was planning on doing my first youtube video tomorrow, as its the first day-off i've had in ages, but once again my plans are colliding, so I'm now off to see the band Peace tomorrow in Birmingham for freeeee! Which I can't really complain about! Its at this really posh venue so it'll be like that episode of Made in Chelsea all over again... YAR YAR woooo hoooo! So yes if any one else is going come day hey!
I have FINALLY finished all my exams/ school life !!!! *CHEERING* So what better than a makeup free second day of freedom outfit post!? (yikes! I guess I am finally getting into the every-day blogging..) Today has been pretty much a 'catch up on lost sleep' / 'get equipment needed to re-decorate bedroom' kinda day. I have been telling myself that I would finally get round to re-decorating it once my exams and important stuff was out of the way, so I guess I have no more excuses now! I will most probably do a few posts on room decorating tips and the ideas I have on themes / before & after ect, so if that sounds interesting to you please leave a comment below! Now to the outfit... since I was having a very laid back day, I chose a very simple combination of slouchy ripped jeans and the classic blue stripped T. I mixed this with the beautiful leather jacket from H&M that I brought recently, which I know is a bloggers favourite. Not only is it beautiful but its also only £29.99 !? A bargain for such a statement piece that goes with everything. Finally the star of the show.. my new cheese plant!! Now as weird as it sounds, I have been wanting a cheese plant for so long now and since im re-decorating, its a must... Cheese plant.. hmm such a strange name... but yes I shall leave you all for now! Till next time darlings ! xxx
Hat - Accessories / Shoes - New Look / Maxi Skirt - Monsoon via charity shop / Crop Top - Monki / Belt - River Island / Necklace - New Look Sale / Earrings - New Look Sale / Sunglasses - Via polyvore
heya, so I have FINALLY got round to taking photos of an ootd *cheering*, and this amazing weather makes it so much easier. I am wearing this beautiful maxi skirt I found in my local charity shop for £3.50 BARGIN! Its originally from monsoon, so as you can imagine its good quality. It is however a size 12, so I was planning on taking it in, although with a belt it doesn't really matter as it comes up quite small anyways plus the pattern is just so perfect for this sunny weather. I teamed the skirt with my monki crop top (that I brought for a festival last year and didn't think I would find another new use for) I'm actually wearing it the wrong way round as it went with the outfit better like that. I love love love cat eye sunglasses and these were a christmas present last year that I saw on polyvore (if you follow me you'll be able to find the link). One of my obsessions at the moment is indian/ethnical kinda jewellery (not sure how to explain) so I was overwhelmed when I went into New Look after work and saw these beautiful earrings in the sale for an amazing £3!!! I also spotted the gold leaf necklace, that had 50% off so was around £4.50 and couldn't resist. However, after wearing it the rest of the same day some of the hooks have already came off, so its basically falling apart, so I'm deffo going to be taking that back!! 1 day! pffft. So anyways I will hopefully be trying to make my blog more constant, as I finish school this week forever AHH scary stuff. My new memory card also came for my camera so a YouTube video is on the way. Goodbye for now.
